FARM SCHOOL
Learning from nature
The Farm School approach proposes that children learn through direct contact with nature. At Semillas de Sol, nature is part of the classroom: the soil, trees, animals, and the outdoors accompany every experience.
Here, learning doesn't just happen in a closed space, but in a living relationship with the environment.
THE BODY IN MOTION
Learning in childhood happens through the body
Through free movement and open spaces, children: walk, run, climb, explore.
In this way they develop balance, coordination, confidence and a deep connection with their own body.

LIFE AS A TEACHER
Learning by doing, observing and participating
In their daily lives, they participate in real-life experiences:
I work in the vegetable garden
Animal care (goats, horses and donkeys)
Hiking and exploring the surroundings
Free outdoor play
These experiences strengthen the body, the nervous system, the will, and the sense of responsibility, awakening a genuine love for life.
LEARNING THROUGH CYCLES
Nature has its own rhythms
The seasons, climate changes, and life cycles are part of everyday life.
This allows them to develop a deep and respectful understanding of the world around them.

BONDING AND EMOTIONAL REGULATION
Contact with animals
Through care, closeness and bonding, children develop: empathy, sensitivity, calmness, and emotional self-regulation.
The encounter with nature and animals connects them with themselves and with the environment in a profound way.
LIFE IN SEEDS OF THE SUN
Experiences in contact with nature
Real images of outdoor life: the vegetable garden, the animals, the walks, the games…
moments where children learn with their whole being.
